Yulang Hua is a Landscape Architect from China with a passion for urban design and Chinese classical gardens. He earned his Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from Shenyang Agricultural University and a Masters in Urban Design from Cardiff University.

Yulang has worked on a wide range of projects, from national forestry park designs in China to various projects in the UK, including the West Hendon Playing Fields design competition, Washington Old Hall landscape, Blyth High Street regeneration, Marks & Spencer’s head office and various private gardens. With his friendly personality and solid design skills, Yulang is always ready to bring creative ideas to the table and help businesses grow.

In his spare time, Yulang loves staying active and exploring new hobbies. He enjoys salsa and bachata dancing and has even organised dance events in Newcastle. He’s also a fan of sports such as surfing, swimming and basketball. One of his proudest moments was completing the Great North Run half-marathon in 1:49:42 in 2023.
